The Joanna de Angelis Spiritist Society (JASS) is a non-profit organization that focuses on studying the Spiritist teachings codified by Allan Kardec, and educating the local community on Spiritist principles. Since 1999, it has been an example of solidarity and brotherhood. Families and individuals who have needed help in the Bay Area have found resources, spiritual support, and hope for a better future. Our group has been an active contributor and volunteer for other Bay Area non-profit organizations, such as the Second Harvest Food Bank, City Team in San Jose and the Family Giving Tree.

SUNDAYS – 9:30AM to 10:20AM – Family Study Group
Study of The Gospel According to Spiritism. English on the 2nd and 4th Sundays; Portuguese on other Sundays.

SUNDAYS – 9:30AM to 10:25AM – Youth Education
For children and teens ages 5-15, in English.

SUNDAYS – 9:00PM – Gospel at Home (online)
In English and Portuguese. Join on Zoom.

MONDAYS – 7:00PM – Public Lectures
English on the 1st and 3rd Mondays; Portuguese on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Mondays.

TUESDAYS – 8:00PM – The Spirits’ Book Study Group (online)
In English. Join on Zoom.

Mediumship Study and Practice
A two-year weekly group class. Enrollment is currently closed – please contact the group to be notified of future studies.
