Nosso Lar Spiritist Society is a non-profit organization whose focus is the study, practice, and dissemination of Spiritism as codified by Allan Kardec, as well as carrying out of charitable and benevolent activities in the spiritual, moral and material fields to benefit underprivileged persons who are in need.

Located in San Leandro, the Society originated from different Spiritist study groups from the East Bay side of the San Francisco Bay Area, which came together to become a joint Study Group in 2004. The group evolved since then to become incorporated in 2009 as a Non-Profit organization for charitable purposes.
